From July 2008, Kent Police will no longer maintain a list of business keyholders who are available for call out should your property be burgled or suffer damage out of hours.
A new, not-for-profit, company working in partnership with Kent Police called Kent KeyLink has been established to fill this role. Kent KeyLink’s service goes beyond just a list of keyholders, it provides detailed incident management instructions and advice to the police and emergency services. In turn it makes better use of police time and provides you with the assurance of immediate and accurate response.
Kent KeyLink Ltd, a partnership with Kent Police, provides a vital service to help keep both businesses and homes throughout the County of Kent safe.
They maintain a database so that, in the unfortunate event that your premises are found to be insecure or damaged, quick action can be taken to effect repairs and make them secure again in no time at all. Kent KeyLink is a 24 hour all-year-round service which ensures that help is at hand when you most need it.
Registration costs just £25.00 plus VAT for Businesses and £20.00 inc of VAT for residential per annum. In return you will receive an efficient and effective service. As soon as the emergency services are notified of an incident at your premises, the Police call centre will call your nearest key holder and your preferred service provider or tradespeople to make the necessary repairs.
